Ometecuhtli

The Two Lord, Ometecuhtli, who was both male and female and the supreme creative deity in the Aztec Pantheon. This seated figure shows him in the form of Tonacatecuhtli, the Lord of Fate. On his headdress is the mask of the Star dragon, the sign of the Milky Way. Museum für Völkerkunde, Basel, Switzerland.
