Sculpture of a seated woman, stone, Mexica-Aztec, c. 1325-1521 CE, Ethnological Museum, Berlin.
The female figure is clothed only in a skirt. Her hair is braided in thick plaits and brought forwards crosswise from the back of the head. The sculpture is damaged. This is why it is not possible to say whether it is the image of an Aztec woman or an Aztec goddess.
