Miniature canoe, rudder, oar
Miniature canoe, rudder, oar, Mexica, limestone rock, dimensions unknown, Museo del Templo Mayor, Mexico City.
These are amongst some twenty miniature objects - all relating to the lives of Aztec water folk - found inside a stone box carved with the image of Tlaloc, from Ofrenda (Offering) no. 41 (1375-1440 CE) at the Templo Mayor.
