As all those of you who’ve taken part in one of our Aztecs or Ancient Mesoamerica workshops will know, we take with us a wonderful model of the famous Mexica (Aztec) Sunstone - but it’s only a rough-and-ready copy, great for making general points but not too accurate... Just as the original makes a stunning centrepiece in the Sala Mexica (Aztecs Hall) of Mexico’s largest museum in Mexico City, our model makes a splash in the centre of our display in schools.
