2016 - Mexican Embassy competition for kids

The end of September 2016 is the deadline for entries to Mexico’s 20th. international drawing competition for children called Este es mi México (‘This is My Mexico’). Open to kids aged 6-14 of any nationality, the theme this year is music and Mexican traditions. Last year just 32 UK entries were submitted, of which 30 were from Manchester and only 2 from London! This year is different again: entires are to be in teams! Minimum of two in a team. Aimed initially at Mexican children living abroad, the competition is now open to all comers. All you have to do is buddy up with a friend, create your drawing, and send it in to the Consular Section of the Mexican Embassy in the UK. There are some beautiful prizes (to be announced in November), it’s free to enter, and the 12 winners’ drawings will go on exhibition not only in Mexico but around the world. Go on, give it a go!
