An image from our photo-library
Within the colour slide library, now containing several thousand original images all taken in Mexico during the last 20 years, we have a unique collection of Aztec images and pictures of Aztec artefacts, many visible on our Aztecs pages.
Not only can we provide a wide range of images from Mexico, we know the material inside out, and can give you specialist knowledge of the subject matter.
Our own collection covers archeological sites, excavations and ruins, pyramids, statues and monuments, sculptures, murals, calendars, codices and manuscripts, musical instruments, costumes, arts and crafts, food and farming, everyday artefacts, ceremonies, jewellery, and much more.

Hello, I am currently designing the packaging for my new Mayan Sea Salt business and came across a beautiful image depicting ancient Mayan’s harvesting the salt. I found the image crediting Raul Velasquez Olivera. I’m looking to obtain permission to use this image to illustrate the origin and history of the product. Just because an image is on our website doesn’t mean we have the authority to allow a third party to use it, so it’s quite possible we won’t be able to help if the image in question isn’t one of our own. Please can you indicate which image(s) and we’ll let you know if we can help.

Hi there! I am writing a curriculum for 1-5 on the Aztecs, Maya and Inca. I am wondering if you have any photos that may highlight the architecture of the Aztec (and/or the other culutres)? I am also interested in books (in English) similar to The Sad Night, The Shawl, etc. Thanks for your help!

We don’t have a glossy, easy-to-browse picture library: being a very small, specialist outfit we work on a much more personal basis. You’ll need to do one of two things: either browse our main Aztecs website (packed with images) and/or contact us and ask us what you’re looking for. Cheers!
