Ceramic pot

Jude Rogers writes ‘I bought this old ceramic pot at a car boot sale for £2 6 or 7 years ago. I would like to know if it is a genuine artefact or a copy. it was painted sometime before and has some residue of this. The terracotta it is made of seems to have some blackish dots in it. Photos of inside urn show holes for firing into legs and arms of outside. The pigment splashes are embedded in the clay and not paint from outside source although there is a splash of green paint from previous use before me.’
